Fern and the Puddle

Just some video I took just now with my digital camera, I was attempting to play fetch with Fern in the yard which doesn't work so well when, well, you will see half the yard is currently flooded. I threw the orange ball too far and Fern was beside herself as she wouldn't go into the water to get it, I felt bad and was going to get my boots on to get the ball for her when she started going into the puddle and running out.

You can also see there is a green ball which is apperantly just not good enough for her to play with. Also those slats of wood are over our fish pond, fortunately she is just light enough that she can run over them without falling through into even more water.

Fern is a Carin Terrier, a breed known for being quite fiesty but not known for their love of water.
