Gene LeBell is NEVER a Legend:
1) As a martial artist (though I doubt if he really is), he's a bum compared to Bruce Lee.
2) As an actor, he's a fool that always appears on screen and gets beaten like a punch-bag by Bruce Lee.
3) As a stuntman, he's a joke compared to Jacky Chan or Tony Jaa.

You probably also don't realise Gene LeBell was nearly a foot taller and much younger than the boxer. LOL!!

Listen fool!! You should check out the original announcement letter for that Judo vs Boxing match 1963. I think you can still find it in their local library. It was a cross style fight and none of them was referred as a mix martial artist. You probably don't realise people of different styles fighting each other have been around since thousands of years before Gene LeBell was a sperm swimming in his father's scrotum.

@IpMan19 Ofc he is lol hes one of the first people to get in a ring and fight a pure boxer. he took him down and dominated him. you cant say hes not one of the originals cause he is. About bruce lee, well everyone is kinda trash compared to him, but why even compare two totally different martial artists lol.

Many people said the same thing but where is the proof?
Also Gene LeBell is NOT one of the original mixed martal artists
IpMan19 3 days ago
@IpMan19 I think it was proved that he taught him ground game, since Bruce lee thought every fight was won with a kick to the face. and i doubt bruce lee would be ignorant enough to not wanna learn from one of the original mixed martal artists..

bruce lee rolled with gene lebell and looked to him to help him form a clinch and ground game
