An experiment conducted on three trains, an L-Set, an 82 Class and an Endeavour at Coniston. The goal? To see if time-lapse photography can be used to "film" trains.
I shot this with a still digital camera that also does movies - it had a "time lapse" mode that you could set to varying times. I set this one to a one second time, but obviously you can do longer times too :).
I'm not sure if video cameras have a time lapse mode, but a lot of point and shoot digital cameras do, although the video quality is very youtube... Not great :)
With that L-set, I can't see the far end of the middle car properly, is that middle car, a CT (Control Driver), & did you happen to see if the middle car still hd a drivers cabin?
How do you make videos timelapse? Do you have to buy a program to edit it etc or can you only get it with certain camera's/Camcorders?
Thanks
Anthony

Yes, it is a Control Trailer, and I believe all of the ones on L Sets are still fully functional with their driver controls intact.
IIRC, they are the only ones on the Cityrail system with their driver componants still working.
