BTW, my son inherited a very "Van Dyke-esque" manner from his maternal grandfather (my dad, a WWII vet who passed in 1984 and was of Dick's generation and enjoyed the show when it was first airing), as you can see from the video from his wedding in 2009, which can be found by searching the words "Winston" and "Jemimas" here on YT (worth the trouble!)

THANK YOU ROSE MARIE FOR BEING PART OF MY CHILDHOOD IN THE 60'S....I DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE CONTENT FULLY AS A CHILD THEN, I JUST WATCHED IT BECAUSE IT WAS PART OF THE CULTURE THEN.
