U.S. Rep. Heath Shuler, a Democrat representing Western North Carolinas 11th Congressional District, voted against a landmark health care reform bill Saturday night. Shuler was one of 39 Democrats to vote against the bill, which won passage 220-215. The day after the vote, Shuler talks about his stance.
Go to his home town, you will understand why he's such a moron.

I was disappointed he voted against it but I appreciate his non hyperbole filled stance on the bill.

I am SO embarrassed this jamoke is MY Congressman! He can barely talk. And he has the NERVE to dismiss phone calls made to his office by people like me over the past few months as "Robocalls". Hey, Heath, REAL PEOPLE are behind those calls. Your votes for the Stupak amendment and against Healthcare AND the Stimulus Package have sealed your fate. You will NOT get re elected. You dance with those who brung you, bro. Those people you hang out with vote for the Republicans.

And what is the cost of NOT insuring everyone? Get real congressman, so much money is wasted on government that is far less crucial than this. Vote yes and get something done!
