Train station announcements

Here are all of the train station announcements that I have recorded in the last 5 months.

They are from 2 different locations, Worcester Shrub Hill and Gloucester.

Sorry if they are not the greatest quality at points, there was a lot of noise from traffic and the trains are louder than you would think!

This woman sounds so deppressing, and silly. When she anounces a train to Taunton she says :"The next train to depart from platofrm 1 will be the 11:34 First Great Western service to Tauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu­uuuunton"

@colliecandle " The first train to arrive a plat 1 is a BIG GREEN one which goes to London calling Swindon and Reading. The 2nd train to arrive plat 1 is a BIG RED one, which will take you to Aberdeen" (and all stations in between) This was done because people [sheeple] cannot understand plain english, so you have to explain it like speaking to children! I should explain these two trains were BOTH due to come into the station and one was directly behind the other - unusual practice.

I wonder if anyone recorded the comical announcements at BPW back in 1998/9 when there was an announcement for a train to Bournemouthwest with all intermediate stations from Bath !  It caused a little consternation that one! Another funny one was [also BPW - Bristol Parkway] on a so called 'rush hour' services one morning. The announcement went something like this:

Haha yes that woman is very annoying at stressful times when trains are running late! her allowing to alightttt with the extended ts drive me up the wall as well

each to their own, I am rather informal most of the time, so thats why it suits me. I find Phil good, bu if Celia is the one from Bristol then thats the one I hate
