Thanks, I can't think of a more important social issue that needs resolving. Social Services have been told to drop adoption targets that lead to fast-track adoptions.

they took my kids coz my 5 yr old at the time has a bruse on her shin n when my baby was born they took her from the delivery room......... makes me sick ppl who harm there childern n able to keep them but those who raise there children with love have them taken away

One of the worst things - despite the fact the supposed "victim" even makes it clear the mother did nothing wrong, the council continued to claim they did nothing wrong and avoid responsibility for wrecking a child's life for 17 years. Pretty good evidence this was done deliberately to hit adoption targets - otherwise the council would admit that mistakes were made and try to change things. But as there were no mistakes (just deliberate corrupt actions), no need to admit them eh?

The solution is for the government of the UK to install CCTV cameras in every citizen's home. This will prevent child abuse, drug use, domestic violence and unsafe sexual practices thus making Britain a safer place for everyone.

Wow--it seems the UK has the opposite problem of the US. In the US, CPS gives the parents numerous chances to get their act together before they take the kids away--and by the time they're in foster care the children are damaged--physically and psychologically scarred. Most of the time, CPS doesn't respond in time and innocent children are killed by their parents or the mom's bf. It seems like a shame that the UK thinks parents are "guilty of child abuse" because of a bruise.

At least this story has a happy ending. Seeing it actually bought me to tears. I just hope that my son comes into my life like this when he is older.
