@berto41 My X Girlfriend Ashley Jolley Schill has a Dodge Viper and a Chevy Suburban on her Driveway, my Cousin Abby has a Lotus on her drive way, If they have these fast cars, I should have these fast cars, I want to grow up in a home with sports cars not with Honda Civic and bycicles. Japan has a shinkansen N700 and France has a TGV high speed train, If they have HSR then we should have HSR, I want to grow up in a country with high speed train not with slow moving trains and greyhound bus.

@berto41 California has allready started on the project beside there starting to bulid elevated structures in San Bruno.

totaly agree america can't afford to not build the HSR remember when we built the interstate in the 55 and 60s it made people drive faster, it got all of our goods on trucks moving fast, with high speed rail, you don't need your own car to ride this, you just ride their trains.
