Lagrima(Tear)-Is a classical guitar compostion by Francisco Tarrega. Normally classical guitar is played with long finger nails, but Tarrega suffered from a fungal growth or something like that and could not grow his finger nails long, so it is only fitting that I play this song with flesh rather than nail.

I figured I'd post this video, since most of the time I am arguing and debating, and causing annoyance to many people. I thought for a change of pace I would post something most people could find pleasant rather. A reminder that while we may not all agree, we each have a side that can soothe rather than scratch. I dedicate this performance to any critics I may have. And hope you enjoy this song as much as I do.

  • del tempo non ne vuoi propio sapere

  • @quinto823 I don't like the song in a solid 3/4 time. It seems to have no life played straight.

  • Very nice job. Great interpretation. What type of guitar and recording equipment did you use ?

  • @predictablepeter

Thanks for the kind words. For this I just uploaded the video and sound recorded from my camera into a video program made by Magix. It supports VST plugins so I added a reverb plugin. The guitar is a M. Horabe Model 35.

  • how did you get it so bright if you did not play with nails?

  • Not sure. My right hand nails are just as short as my left hand nails. Good question. Never really paid attention. It could be that the very tips of my nails are actually hitting the strings but they are awfully short. I haven't kept long nails since college.

  • I love the way that we, as interpreters of this phenomenal piece of music, are able to put our own "feel" into how this is played! Although my version has a bit quicker tempo, I really enjoy your slightly more laid back approach. Excellent work!

  • Very good tone and you play this piece well.

  • Thanks. I learned the song before I ever heard anyone play it. Liked what I was doing so never changed it after I heard other people play it. I normally don't play the end of the minor section that way. I normally play that part closer to the nut.
