Dave and Ann's First Dance Surprise

We first heard about "surprise first dances" through a TV show called Rock The Reception. We thought that would be hilarious but no one in our wedding party, INCLUDING US, knew how to dance, and there would be no way everyone could keep a secret from our guests. Later on, we found some really good YouTube videos from other couples who did it by themselves, such as Brian & Katie, and Max & Sara. We took a few of those ideas, added some other songs we liked, and got with a dance instructor (friend of the bride) to teach us some moves. The only ones in on our secret was the DJ and our dance instructor. The best man was told of our plans the night before, and we had him put his sister on the dance floor during the What Is Love dance (she didn't have a clue what was happening!) Our DJ Paul did an INCREDIBLE job of mixing the music and we couldn't have done it without his help and the patience of Joanna, our dance instructor. We may not be the best dancers around, but the shock factor to our guests made it worth doing! Thanks for watching, and enjoy!
