Another Saturday ride, this time up North of San Francisco in Marin County. The ride started on Lucas Valley Road. Eventually we hit Highway 1 and head south back into Mill Valley.

  • if you ask me I think they are going really slow I could pass them in my car

  • sorry but I don't recall stating anywhere that we were going fast to begin with...

  • I'm glad to see some americans riding that road properly.

I'm from Scotland and I was in San Fran on a tour of Cali just last week.

I hit this road on a rented Harley elecraglide and I swear to god there were riders on streetbikes(honda bross, vfr etc) holding me up. I'm riding the fattest bike in the world with my pregnant girlfriend on the back and these guys were slow as shit.

  • Haha, maybe they were a bit scared of falling off the cliff or into the water.. It's not exactly, the get up and go type of get off if it happens you know? =P

  • sick vid...where are the turkeys?

  • Hah, I thought I'd leave that picture out!

  • Good speed and smart spacing between bikes. Great road...wouldn't Steve McQueen have loved to join you!

  • weeeeek. im from mill valley. check me out . "harley wheelies 10" you guys are ashame. you guys ride like girls

  • I used to go on the sunday morning ride in the late 70s thru early 80s and their was nothing slow about it.Good to see your not riding over your head!! GOOD job

  • @jbusenbark04 Please drive on that road before you say that...its not as easy as you think, and its just beautiful to cruise on.

  • @ewganhoff I used to live on Grizzly Peak Boulevard, and I found it a bit annoying to be stuck behind a rookie on a baddass road bike, whilst driving my F-100. I had 4.57:1 rear-end and a 5-gallon Blitz can bolted down by the right rear bumper, so I could keep up with almost everyone anyway, but only ONCE in all the years did a guy on an SRX-6 go thumping past, and walked away from me. That guy rode like I did, or Mike Hailwood, and he never even looked back.

  • I agree.. Thanks for the comment. =)

  • If I was riding my VFR, and and a two-up electraglide had to pass me in the twisties cuz I was riding too slow, I would cry all the way home and stick my bike on ebay.

    BTW, Marin Co is beautiful

    Peace. Ewan.
