@TheFeralFury That's exactly what one of my ex girlfriends did to me. Showed up after four years (after dumping me) saying I was "the one". She even bought me a computer (I'm typing on it now) we banged a few times. She said she was a different person, but of course she wasn't. Bye bye. (It is a lovely computer though) :)

I don't think it's just that, but from what I understand, it's more hard-wired. Specifically, women are born pragmatists, physiologically built to think in relative terms, completely devoid of absolutes; it's just how they survived, going along with whatever they're told-- i.e. they were never born to THINK.
So while a man thinks everyone's entitled to their own opinion, women feel entitled to her own FACTS. But when you stand up to them as an absolute, they'll accept it.
