  • Tom, your words are not so important as the energy and the truth you put into your words. I really get shocked positively when I hear you. I just have to thank you and practice what you say.

  • I think that out read the other guy is more of a concept than actually reading faster. If you understand the socratic way, you start by knowing nothing and have others educate you. This could be applied to books, but books do not talk back and answer questions as fast as a person does. So... maybe he is right, you may have to out read the other guy!

  • Why would you want to 'outread' the 'other guy?'

  • Tom - do you have any specific reading techniques...? I find that building an interesting keyword/ phrase list helps me find relevant reading material. I make a note of keywords and phrases that interest me. Great way of learning.

  • It's the simple things like this that make it so easy to "Overcome", because the "Other People" don't believe it so they don't do it, but I will. Therefore, I will pass up the "Other People" ;-)

    Gary.

  • Tom, you got it right (as usual). Leaders are readers! Thanks for the insight and inspiration.
