I am a bassoonist, but I didn't mind hearing this piece on the bari sax, after all I play a lot of things on the bassoon that were written for other instruments, especially the cello.
What I didn't like was the ending. There was absolutely no life there at all. If it is too technically demanding for your capabilities, you should play a different piece.

I'm pretty sure it's more difficult on bassoon, too... :p

the solo was well played but the song is done best on bassoon. don't forget that Fucik was a bassonist and this piece was intended for bassoon and not sax.
