This is me and tana talking about the HPV jabs. We have both now had all three injections, and so know all about people's 'turns'. There are things you should really know about them which you aren't being told!

They DO inject cancer into you, but a weak or dead cancer so that your blood can create the correct antibodies to be able to fight off the virus in future!! We ARE doing GCSE Science at the age of 13, we're not stupid!!!

they are not injecting cancer into you.

flu jabs inject flu into you, not hpv jabs.

hpv jabs simply PREVENT cancer.

why post this on youtube when you have probably scared most year8 girls about their next jabs? i've had two hpv jabs, my 3rd is in 2days and trust me, all you feel is a scratch and a sting which lasts about a second. try wiggling your toes or singing your favourite song really fast to take your mind off things. don't listen to this video, they have no idea.

look at the comment below, they know what they're talking about! Google it if you don't believe us, but there is nothing to worry about, the jabs are harmless, but these are a few of the possible side affects us and our friends suffered.

I had mine today and I barely felt it go in. It only lasted about half a second or so... My arm only ached a bit afterwards. I was able to do netball practise the same day ;)

God. You don't need "tips" for having a jab. They DO NOT hurt, and girls just get themselves worked up about it. They are there to protect you and much worse things could happen if you cry your way out of it. Good on the girls who, like me, went into the nurses office and smiled all the way through the injection.

I had my first one today. It didn't hurt at all, all it was was a little scratching feeling on my arm for two seconds, then it was over. It didn't hurt at all after, my arm just felt sorta heavy. It doesn't pour with blood or make you faint, it's just a tiny little needle prick.

Come on, they're not that bad. No-one in my year that I recall fainted; some people did cry their way out of getting them though. They didn't really hurt either, so I don't know why so many people are getting so worked up about them!

im having my 3rd one on friday, i tensed on the first one because my friend made me laugh and that hurt, but i didnt feel the second one, any tips?
