  • Do you have a Home Management Binder? if so, can you do a vid on it. If not, how do you keep organized?

  • @allygirl0519 I have a filing cabinet.

  • okay I'm moving to TX! I think I want to go to Austin. i heard that is a really nice place to live/raise a family. Do you like Austin?

  • @trishdadish82 Austin is fabulous!! If I hadn't moved to San Antonio first, I would have picked Austin for sure!

  • can you post a video, or something of your favorite recepies? I feel like I am always running out of ideas for what to cook for dinner every night.

  • @trishdadish82 I think that would be better in a blog posting or on my Facebook page. That's a great idea.

  • Love this video. I live in the Netherlands. I did grocery shopping every day, but now I reduced it to twice a week, I'm so proud of myself (thanks to you). I also make a list with meals for the week. It's so practical, why didn't I think of it myself. Thank you for the great ideas. Love both of your channels. xxx

  • @lifewithgoldgirl Haha thanks! :)

  • @PrimosTV1 That is a fabulous idea-you're full of them. YOU should be making these videos!

  • @bnesmommy I don't think so-they're not very organized!

  • could you show us your pantry and fridge and how you organize them?

  • What I do is keep the receipts every time I go food shopping. That way I know the exact prices of things and can do the math at home and know how much money I'm going to need. Here's what I usually get in 1 week: Fruits: A bunch of bananas (about 24 bananas), 8 green apples, berries (usually blackberries, blueberries, cranberries), Vegetables: Carrots, potatos, onions, broccoli, Drinks: A gallon of almond milk, a pack of soda cans, coffee, tea, Other: bread, bologna, salami, cheese, pasta, pb&j.

  • I do the exact same thing, even rewriting my list in the store order

  • @lifewithgoldgirl Thanks for getting back to me!

  • @TFlayWhite I don't know where you live, but that is not the case for me.

  • Should we be expecting a grocery haul soon? xxx

  • you know walmart is the most expensive of all places to buy anything?!

  • I also do the same thing, weekly menu plan, organize foods by type, cooke ahead and freeze some things... Everything from scratch : )

  • I shop at a huge Ingles market, so I organize my list by the way the store is organized. It makes it so much easier and quicker to shop. Hurray for anal people!

  • @paulsballsify My sister-in-law almost had a heart attack when I cooked Chicken Marsala with a Cakebread chardonnay. What can I say-it was open and I needed some white wine! ;) It was the best Chicken Marsala (or in this case, Chardonnay) that I ever had!

  • Great information in all your videos. I hope to find a thrifty/smart/beautiful girl like you someday. Your husband and kids are very lucky. (My head exploded with pleasure when you knew NOT to cook with "cooking" wine.). Bravo.

  • I food shop almost on a daily basis. I am very close to a "Whole Foods" supermarket and I buy all my veggies and fresh baked bread (if needed) for the meal that day. A habit I picked up from living abroad . I can't stand crowds (and Whole Foods is ALWAYS crowded it seems) so I I get there early before the crowds and I am done for the day. Of course, I go once a month for my " Wal-Mart" shopping. By that, I mean cleaners, toilet paper etc... Thanks so much for some great ideas!! Loved it!!!!

  • @sgblucas I have no idea-it's still there, I checked.

  • @lifewithgoldgirl what happened to the recipe? I favorited the vid and came back to it today to make my shopping list and it's gone. . . :-(
