@rockinpiano1 I was a cadet (NAVCAD) at VT-21 during 1967 1968. I recall Lt. Galbraith's name can't put a face to it. I flew to NAS Alameda, and blew out a tire on take off from Hill AFB on the way back which led to a night arrested landing at Albuquerque. The Cougar took it all in fine fashion, just changed the tire and flew on to NAS Kingsville. Send me a message to talk of old times.
I was stationed with VT-21 from late 66 to 68 with F-9s. They were built tough. Got to fly home in them a couple of times with Lt. Galbraith. Once you got your OMIS card, they'd let you go on training flights..............without G suits!
Wow ,look at the determination of the deck crew, sprinting towards the danger zone..unsung heroes.
Gentlemen, whoever you are,I thank you for your service.

That's one way to do it, but it's not the correct one.
