3:15 first thumb
5:56 second thumb
12:18 third thumb
I uploaded a video earlier and the times for thumbnail placement were much different from the one I have now. However, I did manage to get the mid-point thumb almost at a bullseye with a few hundredths of a second off.
@justapodcast man i'm fucking breaking my balls trying to get the right thumbnails, i must have uploaded about 20 videos (no joke) testing and experimenting and i'm still not getting anything, godaaaaaaaaaaamn :/

good experiment. i've been doing a lot of similar ones. i can get it right about 90% of the time on the first try now. now, i'm writing a program to help others get the thumbnails they want too. =)

@MakeupbyCait This was only an experiment to see where the thumbnails would land. This was of course a 15 minute video and the only constant thumbnail was the middle thumb the other two changed time frame pretty randomly. I would think theres an algebraic formula to find the middle thumb but I can't remember the slope formula....I'm sure it's out there though. Sorry that this video wasn't much help it was uploaded out of curiosity and in hopes that others would expand on it.
