hey guyss. this is my first original i'm uploading on youtube. i wrote the lyrics a long time ago and decided to make the instrumental simple. to people that know me i'll probably upload one of my old ones one of these days but i'm a great procrastinator :). but it's a new feel i guess :/. hope you enjoy heh! lyrics are below~~


Optimism Tops The Nerve--------
i could see the moon from here
like a lightbulb in it's prime and this drive is reaking of unresltlessness
the summer's counting down it's lasting days and the clouds are brighter than the midnight sky

so this wait for a simple answer 'yes' or 'no', shorter than it seems,
like a lifetime coming from the hours few
but in the end the answers landed in the palm of your hand

coming through for yourself once again
grateful nights with missions inlayed under the obvious masquerade
highways lit with lamps every hundred feet
to flash along the faces of
a worried brow and trembling hands
optimism deffinitely tops the nerve

"it's gonna be alright" was what she said, trailed the phrase with a few lit cigarettes
made a ring of smoke inhaled it in
and took a look towards the long and winding unpaved roads

Wow... I was on you tube tryin' to look at a different song I want to learn to play... found this, very beautiful. I don't know what it means but I'm not trying to figure it out just yet. It's how certains song move through me like like the chords of the guitar harmonize with my soul and for a moment I feel things I've forgotten and pushed away. Keep writing I believe music can change the world.
