Lovely eyeshadow look. I love that you didn't apply false eyelashes like most do in their tutorials. This is a great look to achieve. Nice.

This popped up in my Recommended Videos, and it really reminded me how much I enjoy your channel. There are plenty of "tutorials" here rife with cooing, giggling, and eyelash batting, but you are one of very few from whom I expect to actually learn something. (Marlena from MakeupGeekTV is another.) You guys are my YouTube role models. (:
Stay sweet, and keep it up...I like to think of your style as real beauty for real (grown) women; there are other places for wild artistic looks. ;)

I just wanted to say how much I love your tutorials. Since I started watching them, I can finally say I am "sorta" confident in applying eye shadow. You look great in all the looks and make the videos so easy to watch!

Hey Emily, question: so basically the coastal scents gel liner has a similarity to MAC's paint pots correct? I was reading the reviews on the gel liners and most were disappointing in regards to stain power and how you would create a line and redo it a few times to get the actual color. Is this true for you?

Hi! To tell you the truth, so far I've been using them more as bases (like a paint pot) than liners. I really like them for that purpose because there's such a great range of colors and it does improve the staying power of my shadows. I'll continue to test how well they work as liners :)

Emily, I am not sure if it's the lighting but all of your looks seem the same. You are talented and sweet but I would love to see something more DARING from you. I know that your job is conservative so that's why you keep your looks neutral, but I would love to see something out of your usual comfort zone. keep up the great work and keep those videos coming because i enjoy watching you!!

please look back in my videos... I have more than 300 and there are quite a few daring looks within that batch. I'll do a couple natural looks, then something more bold. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
