I think the main point of this video is that it demonstrated fully accelerated 3D on eeepc using the existing kernel gem + mesa + eagle structure and integrated them into Android.

It is interesting to see android running on the EeePC.

I guess many people would prefer using android than windows or gnu/linux based distributions on there eepc. This looks like the future of mass market computers.
