this might be a bit random but how hot does it get around the holidays in australia in american degrees?

I plan to move to Brisbane, Aus. someday and i would like to know!

@johnson1095 I have been to Brisbane in early January in temps of 42C which is 107F. Thats peak temp around 2 in the afternoon, and only a few days through summer get that bad, but highs of 35 to 40C are quite regular in summer (95 to 104F)

Thanks for your comments. This year (2008) I'll try and add better video's - this year I had 100+ cars a night and I never really got time to video at about 9pm (Best time). Already spent close to $2000 on the 08 display, so it should be good.

Just thinking following the recent snow fall in the UK how does Christmas songs and cards and things differ in Oz compared to the UK as whilst we are making snowmen and snowballs and singing Let It Snow, Oz are in the middle of summer. This is really good!
