Misjudged Girl: A Jemi One Shot Part2

A week later.
Demi is better now and her wrists were healing.
Joe found out about her dad, he secretly called the police and they came and took him away.
Then, Joe had actually became friends with her and didn't care about popularity anymore.
Demi wasn't a loser anyway, she just seemed that way. He misjudged her.
Joe and Demi would hang out everyday and enjoyed each other's company very much.

One evening, at Demi's house.
Joe had this once question stuck in his head for about a week now, but he was too scared to ask Demi.
But he thought that he'd been waiting too long and it was time for him to build up the courage to ask her this one question that could change evrything.
He saw her in the living room, she was sat on the sofa flicking through channels.
He approached her and took a seat beside her.
She looked at him.
Joe hesitates before he starts to talk. "Demi, can I ask you a question?"
"Of course." She flashed a smile at him, which made him smile too.
"I was wondering," He began. "Would you uh be m-my girlfriend?"
Nervousness took over his body and started to control him.
She looked at him. She was shocked that he'd asked that, yet filled with happiness.
"Yes, Joe. Stop being so nervous." Her smile grew widder.
"You really want to be my girlfriend?"
He was unsure whether this was a joke or not.
"Of course, I do. Now, come here."
Joe got closer to her and they both leaned in before sharing their first kiss together.
For Demi, it was literaly her first kiss but for Joe, maybe his 70th kiss? Or more.
But Joe definately thought this kiss was the best and they could feel sparks between them.
This was for sure an amazing kiss and who knows? Maybe they were meant to be all along.
