wolves will only attack humans if they think they are in danger they are very harmless animals and just because they fight alot doesnt mean they're monsters! BECUASE OF THOSE DUMB PPL KILLING THEM AND ..........AND!! MAKING THEM SUFFER MY FAVORITE ANIMALS THE WOLF IS NOW ENDANGERD! *cries*

@colinmo They were probably responding to you. I did the same thing at the zoo today. The trick is that it has to be more than one person doing it and you have to use varying pitches.

@colinmo that's how the native americans felt they revered, and in some cases, worshipped them there r plans in the works to provide another alternative to hunting them to protect live stock and such which is using thier territorial howls to deter them away from the area as that's the main reason they're being hunted

wolves can sometimes be nice but they are more scared of us than we are of them its best to let animals live free and to stop hunting them.... how would you like it if your race was endangerd? I love wolves and i will never sto ploving them, they are beautiful and need a chance to live free in this world. so many are trying so hard to keep these beautiful animals alive because many people hunt them and kill them....no offense but i seriously think hunting should be illegal

Be nice to have wolves no longer hunted. I heard the plans to reintroduce them to various areas in America resulted in people arming up. Much sadness.
Wish there were wolves around here (I'm in Aus), I just felt really blessed to be able to see them at all. I'd rather see them in the wild via a wolf tour, but I'll take what I can get.
I'm also against hunting, no offence received. Well, unless they're attacking us, or it's to prevent humans from starving, then I can understand.

Yup, my wife and I were in Berlin Zoo and we had a digital camera with a movie mode attached to it. My wife and I watched them and they started waking up and being mobile at the end of the day, so we started howling softly at them - they watched us for a bit and then they all started howling. Whether that was their end-of-day-howling or they were actually responding to us, we have no idea.
