I know. I personally avoid saying "worst" or "best" because there are other arrhythmias that are just as bad and it's hard to really say which one is the worst, and I don't think it makes a difference.

Personally, I'd say asystole is the worst cardiac dysrhythmia, since it won't even react to defibrillation (V-fib, on the other hand, will).

    Cool story, though.

Correction: it IS the worst kind of arrhythmia. Most Arrhythmia are typically harmless, and not very likely to kill you themselves. V-Fib is the leading cause of sudden cardiac arrest. Not a heart attack, just plain out death.

One of my father's friends -who was very physically active- died without warning one day while they were playing basketball. Cause of death was determined to be Cardiac arrest brought on by ventricular fibrillation.

Then you'd die... V-fib is an arrhythmia, and one of the worst ones.

The heart shakes in Ventricular Fibrillation. So it's safe to say it has stopped.
