DJ IVY started djing at the age of 12 and quickly progressed
to community radio at 13 on KNON 89.3 in Dallas/Ft. Worth (The
5th largest market in America) At Age 14 he joined the mixing djs
of KRBV "Hot 100.3" which later became "Wild 100.3." There he
hosted and djed along w/ "Dj Spin" on their own friday and
saturday night electronic mix shows. Friday nights were
broadcasted from the world famous "Red Jacket" in Dallas.
Saturday Nights were broadcasted as well from "Club DNA." During
his time at KRBV he became Pepsi Co. official national "Pepsi
Mixer" for promotions of Pepsi products. He also assisted and
started his career in "Creative Imaging" and "Audio Engineering."
His fame became nationally known after releasing several record
Ep's under, then R2M records. From there he became a resident dj
at many clubs around Dallas as well as in Detroit, Kansas City, Monterrey, Aguascalientes, Guadalajara and more. In 2003 he moved radio stations to KKDL "106.7" where he again hosted and djed on friday and saturday night mix shows which included local and national guest dj's w/ interviews. He left radio 2
years later to pursue video production in Miami. He continued his
dj career spinning at clubs like "Club Love" in Miami and producing
music for digital distribution through itunes and beatport.com. He
currently lives in Dallas where he is a certified Pro Tools
Audio Engineer and Video Dj incorporating self made and remixed
videos for visual entertainment while he mixes. His style is
described as fast paced and bass driven. His "VJing" and live performance P.A brings higher level of immersion while mixing the latest electro/house music.
His Styles of music also include trance, hardstyle, hip-hop, and
mash up. Future projects include new itunes releases of original
and remixed tracks expanding different genres of electronica as
well as music videos in HD.
