There is the story of how it actually snowed over Disneyland on the night Walt died, that two Cast Members spotted snow flakes falling, in the light from the gas lamp in Walt's apartment above the fire station on Main Street.
I suppose Walt Disney was caught up with the "plausible impossible" thing, but snow in Southern California is far from impossible and is actually a major part of the culture here, particularly in the Inland Empire. However, it is unusual in the Anaheim area during the Christmas season -- except, of course, at Disneyland.
