Hayden Mofo Guitar Amp Head Quick Demo

This is just a quick video of my Hayden Mofo 30. Hopefully it will give people some idea of the tones this thing can do, i apologise in advance for the crackly distortion noise over the top as this video was recorded simply with the cameras internal mic and it would appear that the volume was overloading it plus you don't get a real sense of the depth and tone but then I guess you never will on Youtube however you get the idea... I was using the UK input, the guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Goldtop with Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 pickups and the cab is a 412 with Celestion Vintage 30's. The Mofo is a cracking little head, very loud and lots of scope on tones that aren't covered here, will try to sort a proper mic and do a more in depth vid when I get chance.

Hey - its actually pretty easy to go from clean to dirty, I usually set the main gain control to about half way which gives you a just breaking up tone a la AC/DC that can be cleaned up more if needed with the vol control on the guitar, then you can kick in more gain with the Mofo gain control to get raunchy. Hope this helps

Hi , winder could you give us a few more samples of this amp maybe with a little better sound quality than this one no offence but I was seriously thinking of getting this amp but can't try it out in any local shops first ! Cheers C.

You need to get your top 50 fixed dude amazing tone, Ive got a '72 and will never get rid of it. Such a rare amp to own! can the hayden do hard rock/metal tones well im thinking of getting the mofo 100 but dont know if i want to drop that money on an amp that has very little reviews or places that sell them

That presence knob is fundamental to get a good tone, I wish more amps have it! When u turn it down It just dont sound so good for my taste.

Can you play the head just on its own? Im pretty to using an amp head and i wanna pick this up but what do i need to do?
