Client's Target:
1. To engage with 2,921 students using Proximate (Bluetooth Marketing)
Mechanic:
1. We'd developed a custom-branded mobile jigsaw puzzle game for 100Plus, and created, managed 100Plus Facebook page.
2. The game is distributed to students using 3 ProxiNomads at 28 different colleges and universities.
3. Students can potentially win an iPhone/iPod by playing the game. The individual with the highest score at the end of the contest (1 month) will win the prizes.
4. To participate: consumers must install and play the mobile game and become a fan at the Facebook page. Scores were submitted to our server through mobile Internet. Results and announcement will be posted on the Facebook page.
Results:
1. More than 11,285 students downloaded the game (exceeding the client target by 386%)
2. More than 3,034 individuals participated in the contest through their mobile phones.
3. More than 13,134 contest entries was received.
4. Consumers spent a total of 7.65 million seconds playing the mobile game, that's an average of 42 minutes per contestant
5. More than 3,987 fans joined the new Facebook page. There were no other awareness mechanism applied other than through the mobile game and activation.
