My first real video, I gathered multiple clips from the official SEAL and SWCC page. This is a peek inside SEAL training.
Sorry for the short on the Creed slides, (it's just kinda long)

  • @eurosceptic1 samething you have to be already in the navy, if you qualify you can be transfred to BUDs right after completing Basic, and this is the Basic its not advnced

  • @DontFUckWitUSA you dont already have to be enlisted...i dont know where you heard that but some people walk right off the streets, get a SEAL contract and make it through buds to become a seal without ever being in the Navy or any other armed force prior. But its not something that happens a lot.

  • @Prometheus1st thats hilarious. Somebody give this man a trophy.

  • @CrazyxSourxStitches im saying that out of respect for Marines. People need to respect every branch and i dont think any branch "eats" another. We're a fucking team why are people always comparing them? We're never going to be fighting against ourselves are we smart guy? When we spak of TRAINING, then i think SEALs endure more. okay.

  • @206campcounselor oh nice, i believe you.

  • @the45operator The number I got from my coach Cmd Mark Divine who is a (ret) SEAL. And though this figure is an average it is as reliable as it gets. There have been classes where everyone quits. I talked with two guys, one who finished BUD/S last December and the other is still in BUD/S, confirmed the second part. They were both out on injuries and had to wait to resume training. The body can do a lot but Injuries happen often.

  • @206campcounselor any liable sources? that doesnt seem right...

  • @the45operator 80% of all quitters leave during Hell Week. And most who leave after 1st phase are dropped for injury, failed test or other reasons.

  • @eurosceptic1 Yes you can get a BUD/S contract but it's not easy. Some guys wait years to get a contract. And yes you can do the same thing for Special Forces. It's called an 18-xray contract. I think SFOD-D is one of the few who still do it the old way of having to already be in. And BUD/S is basic. It stands for Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training.

  • Can you join this straight off the street? If so, it's not special forces, special forces come from people who are already in the military.

To even go for selection for something like SAS you have to be in the military for 3 yrs and then it has a 97% failure rate. This looks like nothing more than basic training

  • @bladesaint21 They did EOD the same way. Now you're an EOD technician, not a GM (EOD-PJ) etc. Nice that they finally classified EOD under SpecOps too.

  • @the45operator thanks man that was a detailed answer :) is there something about 2nd phase that makes students drop? I mean, I would think the guys who aren't comfortable in water would be the only ones to drop after 1st phase. But maybe it's the pool comp or something i dunno. I guess the videos on youtube make 2nd phase look too easy.
