  • @bilos1993 I dont know I cant see or hear this show that well

  • @sunnylee84

GILLAN DIDN'T LOOSE HIS VOICE UNTIL 2008...YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO 1996 MONTREUX DVD, 2002 NEC DVD, 2005 VIELLES CHARREUX AND SO ON...

  • Fantasticos siempre !!! Un abrazo desde Argentina !!!!

  • On this video Ian just is a little weak on vocals because his voice is bit strained that night. Maybe it's because of a little cold or cause of too much screaming in the former shows. They are touring that much, sometimes there are shows like this when a singer can't fit his own shoes. No prob for me...

  • Gillan lost his voice in the 80's? Gillan sounded awesome on the Come Hell Or Highwater dvd... That was in 94? No lost voice / just different. I've seen him after 2000 many times and thought he sounded great. Sure - differen't and maybe not as good as on Made In Japan record for example - but still sounds awesome... He's changed his way of singing to suit the change in his vocal chords... As in the other comments, he was having an off night on this recording...

  • Hehe yeh that was the Sydney show :) We were wrapped to get to see them again the next night... That's awesome! We prob brushed shoulders ;) Where was it on the Highway Star?

  • Was that at the sydney show? Lol I read about that on the highway star =P I went on the second night XD

  • This video lacks bass, the vocals are coming through too clearly so you can nit pick.

  • I've always been huge Purple fan. and today I think they should take Glenn Hughes on vocals and think about seriously because Ian Gillan had lost his voice in 80s. it's very sad because I was inspired by classic Mk-2 & Mk-3 albums but these days they are getting older and older. Only Glenn Hughes saved his incredible voice to these days. I think when the singer is powerful he makes band to play more powerful and stronger. No diss. It just my opinion. :)
