Dear Viewers,

As you are probably aware, there has been a recent increase of intolerance and bullying of LGBTQQIAA youth. At the same time, the forces opposing that hatred have also been on the rise. The "It Gets Better" videos on Youtube have been an inspiration to the Gay Straight Alliance here at Cleveland High School. We have made our own "It Gets Better" video, with a twist- it does get better eventually, but it needs to get better NOW, in High School. As students who feel strongly that school should be a safe place for ALL students, not just straight ones, we are at the forefront of making it better at our high school. We have started an "It can get better NOW" campaign to reach out to fellow high school students through the internet and hopefully through your show. In this video are personal statements from Cleveland GSA members who share the same passion you have for ending hatred and intolerance of young members of the gay community. We would love for you to share our video with friends, family, colleagues, on Facebook, and through Twitter, as we believe it would immensely help everyone watching to know that high school students are acting on behalf of the gay community, not just adults.
