In order to set the wrist, assuming you are right handed; as you take the club away, use the right palm to put pressure on the left palm. At the top of the swing, imagine you are holding a tray flat to the sky with you right hand. MAINTAIN THIS WRIST BEND ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE DOWNSWING.
Pull the club down first vertically. DO NOT TRY TO HIT THE BALL!!!!!!!
Watch tiger, McIllroy, etc, the right wrist is bent all the way. The club will naturally release correctly
