Why only 50%? Why not eliminate government altogether! If the history of the 20th century teaches us anything, it's that government only causes wars, depressions, and social upheaval. 200 million people were killed by their OWN governments in the 20th century.
The logic is crystal clear in Bastiat's essay "Government"
