Twenty seven year old Leon is banished by his parents to stay with his eccentric Uncle Simeon in a remote corner of the English countryside. He is sure that he has nothing in common with his persnickety and difficult relative but through deceit, betrayal and fantasy a peculiar friendship begins between the two men, a friendship that will result in strange and tragic consequences and the discovery of Uncle Simeons Secret.
Written, produced and directed by Don Farrow in the late 80s the film features a performance by Welsh actor Tony Hall as Uncle Simeon. Tony acted on stage with Laurence Olivier in John Osborne's The Entertainer and had a career as an award winning radio actor with the BBC. He played Anthony to Glenda Jackson's Cleopatra in an acclaimed radio production of Shakespeare's Anthony and Cleopatra. He was professor of drama at The University of East Anglia in Norwich, Egland.
This film is superb - a real work of art.

Nope. Only documentaries for The History Channel in the US. Glad you liked the film. It's great to see a youthful Clive Stubbs.
