This is my 55 lb female blue pit bull Bella showing a little bit of her prey drive...We cannot take this dog to soccer games because of her obsession with chasing after pretty much anything you throw or kick. The sled she is dragging weighs 60 lbs...She has no problem pulling more than that, either. We have found that weight pulling is a fun and effective way to exercise our dogs. We have also had some success in the sport of weight pulling in Hawaii...No, this is not cruel. The harnesses are designed to minimize stress to the dogs' body and to minimize any risk of injury. We also warm them up before increasing weight and slowly increase the max that they pull over time. I am happy to answer questions of anybody interested in getting started in the sport of weight pulling, as I know I had lots of questions when I first discovered the sport almost two years ago...Check us out on www.myspace.com/renegadepits if you like...
@blacknigger12 Harnesses that are not properly made can cause discomfort for the dog. I would suggest purchasing one.
