Pokemon Emerald Nuzlocke Challenge [part 1]

This is the first part of a narrated live nuzlocke challenge of pokemon emerald. The rules of a nuzlocke challenge are:

1 if a pokemon faints, it must be realeased / never used again
2 you may only catch the first pokemon you find on each route
3 you cannot use items outside of battles
4 if you white out and have no more pokemon in your box, you lose the game
5 You can only by one pokeball from the mart when you enter a town

Since its possible to abuse saving and catch whatever you want through restarting, I am going to play through only saving once per route/area, and not abusing restarts. Also, I realize the audio is de-synced. I think its because i used the VBA throttle.

I do not own the rights to this game, nintendo and gamefreak do. I just play it. I use an emulator for recording purposes, I do own the game and a ds to play it.

WoW, i might try this. i would ifnd it easy, i usually never use potions out of battle anyway, and i dont catch much. So i might try it...

@ninjahoplite BTW you failed your nuzlocke challenge because your poochyena and mudkip were from the same route

@jbgofgt lol i forgot to mention that the started doesnt count. but essentially, since the whole thing is self0imposed challenge, the rules themselves dont really matter as long as you stick to them once they are decided (if that makes sense). In any case, the poochyena died later in the run without doing anything except soaking up experience from mudkip.
