@thewayofthemaster Atheists do not believe that everything came from nothing. Atheists take the stance that they are unconvinced of a claim that god exists. This has nothing whatsoever to do with cosmology in any way. There is no dogma, nor is there an agenda. They are simply unconvinced.

1:15 That is a children's show, so of course you would expect a simplistic means of explaning a very complex idea.

0:45 You are neglecting to explain the complex way these things happened. 1:00 One: As many have said, no, an atheist is not someone who believes nothing comes from everything. The word atheist means without theism. That is to say, someone who does not believe in a god, gods, or goddesses. Two: No, the idea that everything came from nothing is not a scientific impossibility, that is an assumption you are making. Three: The Cornell University quote is merely one possibility.

Wow, it's amazing how many things this video can get wrong in such a shot time, so I will try to be brief, as well. 0:20 The 'Big Bang' was no even a 'bang', so to speak. And most cosmologists try to find out *why* it happened; they do not usually say 'it just happened'. 0:30 Just because you have a hard time comprehending the big bang, doesn't mean it didn't happen. 0:44 Many scientists are not convinced there was 'nothing' before the big bang. There are a large range of theories.

@thewayofthemaster “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.” - Christopher Hitchens. if you can dismiss the big bang without any explanation that isn't misinformation and lies then i as an atheist can dismiss that without evidence (god) just as easily.

@thewayofthemaster i can't even quantify how utterly ridiculous this video is. Ignoring all the blatant factual inaccuracy's and downright lies, are you suggesting that because science is yet to discover what happened before the big bang that it must be wrong? just because you don't understand something doesn't mean you can just say "uhh god did it, he existed outside time".
-
@thewayofthemaster Atheists don't believe something came out of nothing. And scientists don't actually believe something came from nothing. I keep hearing this and its ridiculous. And honestly i think any rational person would assume that something always existed.
-
@thewayofthemaster Both scientifically impossible
-
it is impossible argue with Christians because they have no logic at all and i don't do it i just... There are a lot of people in countries that you even don't know that those exist and there no one hear about your "god" and people aren't bad there, but because your "god" is "good" they go to "hell" because they don't pray to him. Amen.

Lol, so basically Creationist think life is like is movie?...Go figure! XD

@thewayofthemaster This is basic "God of the gaps" stuff. If you want to say that God exists out side of time and therefore the universe then you've entered the realm of that which cannot be falsified. It is a completely irrelevant statement and holds no logical grounds for an argument for the existence of any particular god, let alone the Abrahamic god. It is a deistic argument, not a theistic one. Get it right.
Out of nothing came the Big Bang. Atheists believe this scientific impossibility
Replace "the Big Bang" with "God" and "Atheists" with "Christians".
:P

@DragonmasterA1ex You're misinformed. God did not come out of nothing. He is outside of time and has always existed. You'd be more accurate to say that God created everything out of nothing, as opposed to atheists who believe everything came from nothing, with no intelligent mind involved.
