Yes, but methods of delivering it effectively are patentable. I very much doubt that swallowing a load of baking powder is going to treat your pancreatic cancer. Either way, the VAST MAJORITY of research begins in INDEPENDENT, NON-PROFIT research labs, all of whom are desperate to make the next big discovery (as that's how they can write successful research grants and make an honest living). While I agree in theory that big pharma may not want to promote an unpatentable cure for cancer...

..if such a straight-forward treatment existed for cancer then it would have been published in a major journal. Publications to all the major scientific journals have no connection with industry". Many drugs begin in this types of lab, the study is then published in a journal that is free for everyone to see and big pharma takes the info and tries to turn the discovery into a drug. I looked at this guys track record...he has no publications and is not taken seriously in public research circles.

To clarify...research begins in PUBLIC, NON-PROFIT laboratories that are not connected to industry. Big pharma patents and develops drugs but they DO NOT control basic research

Are you kidding!! They would NEVER publish this in any medical journals in the US. It's tooo inexpensive, and takes away from the medical community, it heals and they don't want to heal cancer. There's NO MONEY IN IT. They make a fortune with their 2.1% success rate treatments with radiation.

pH balance in blood is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. Injecting enough baking soda to change that pH is potentially LETHAL.

In reading "Healing Cancer from the Inside Out" by Mike Anderson, out of 10 people only 2 will walk the road less traveled and seek alternative medicine for cancer. I am one of the two and am successfully ridding myself of cancer through removing animal products and white sugars, yeasts. You should all watch the DVD. I would fly to Italy if I could in order to combine his treatment and diet.

So how many cancer sufferers has this chap cured so far?

perhaps, the reason that they are not it because soda is cheap, simple & widely awailable whilw on the other side, treatments for all this possible deadly fungy infections cost qite sum of money?
