Its hard to believe Amir is Baba's son. Baba was willing to take a bullet for a perfect stranger and yet Amir wasn't willing to take a punch for the person he grew up with since birth thats sad. My HS english class is studying this book and my teacher did a vote "how many of you would go in to help a friend if they were getting raped with the chance of getting hurt and not a single person didn't put their hand up".

Baba was my favorite character in the book, and I love this actor's performance but I think Kabir Bedi would have done an awesome job. He looks much more intimidating than this guy.

I have always admired the character of "Baba" for doing things like fearlessly standing up to an armed soldier....all in the name of decency. I wish there could be more people like him in this world!
