Teri Joaquin started dancing at age 18 with a small group, "Phenomenon." In college, he joined Evolution Hip Hop (at the time CSA Evolution) and became a director the following year. He is considered one of the "new founders" for having helped restructure the team and raise it from the bottom up. He also double-teamed with 909 Hip Hop Dance Troupe for a couple years before coming back down to SD. Upon returning to San Diego, he joined PGN Dance Company (a team started by Funks SD alumni). He teaches regularly at StudioFX and hopes to make it big one day.
