Two of the three judges who scored the fight for the 36 year old Calzaghe who is referred to as “The Prince of Wales” were white and their tallies were enough to overcome the 114-113 scorecard of Adalaide Byrd who is black
The judges? Oh yeah, nothing different from what the rest of the world knows though!
403 F.3d 102 Lou DIBELLA and Dibella Entertainment, Inc., Plaintiffs-Appellants-Cross-Appellees, v. Bernard HOPKINS, Defendant-Appellee-Cross-Appellant. Docket No. 03-7012. Docket No. 03-9095. United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit. Argued September 27, 2004. Decided April 4, 2005. A. The Business Relationship Plaintiff DiBella, a former executive with the cable network Home Box Office (HBO), was a "principal architect" of HBO's successful boxing programming.
At trial, attorney Magargee testified that he was present at an April 11, 2000 meeting with Joseph and Hopkins, during which DiBella called and spoke to the group via speakerphone. Magargee testified that DiBella said "that he could get or could convince HBO to get Bernard [Hopkins] on that undercard.... And he also said that his fee in connection with that, or for his services, would be $50,000.
@twobitsworth It was the easiest win of Bernard Hopkins's career and he was a pensioner for fucks sake!
He turned the Slapping Coward Calzaghe's face into pulp-juice, I heard he got turned down by the Man From Del Monte to go into one of his pulp juice commercials his face was so bad!
What?
These are facts, I will send YOU or ANYONE the LINKS if you doubt me
Richie Woodhall is a personal friend of Calzaghe's, their trainer-fathers are also friends, Woodhall shouldnt b allowed to commentate
@Cowardzaghe I checked ESPN the pieces I found match what you were saying, that Hopkins "eeked" win on their scorecards by 1 point as far as I could tell. When I first watched it I agreed that hopkins won, since rewatching it several times I go with a clear Calzaghe victory. Also, slating the HBO scorecard and Woodhall's is far fetched and merely a conspiracy theory. The officials judges were with Calzaghe (discount the lucky knockdown and he drew on one). Any conspiracy on the judges?
His longtime friend with a former trainer-father who was also a friend of his father Enzo, who worked for the same channel Frank Warren has an exclusive contract with at the time (Setanta) Richie Woodhall?
HBO who sued Hopkins for $613,000 for accusing their execs of taking bribes?
Nicky Piper and Duke McKenzie of (Independant) Radio Five Live had Hopkins winning.
Yahoo Sports, ESPN (Independant) also had Hopkins winning.
@Cowardzaghe Sad sad sad little man, ones things for sure Calzaghe certainly beat you, he made you bitter and turned you into a very little man, i really pity you, ps go and watch the last few rounds, The commentaters and the old pros all put Calzaghe clearly ahead, try to accept this and get on with your lonely life
Damm Joe, You should of said,Hey this white boy kicked your ass!
