@gailontheweb o sorry, that was a while ago, to tell u the truth, theres one Canadian National engine, a Canadian Pacific engine, and a shop switcher. they are also restoring a boston and maine locomotive

youtube search K4s 1361
-
3713 is WAY much closer
-
that's not true. (not to offend you) but a guy named Andy Morris said because of the waste of effort, 1361 will be shipped back to Altoona where she'll operate in 8 years i'm hoping. i assume the whole boiler might be thrown away. 3 million dollars was wasted, and they should use it to buy a new one. Okay, I'm sorry if i offended you in anyway but it's true.

Great video!

Does anyone have any videos that I can see the The Pennsy K4 and the B&M 3713? Because I keep hearing these 2 being mentioned, but never even saw a picture or video of either. If anyone has a video or picture of either, I'd appreciate it if someone can share it with me. =)

hey the reason the locomotives say CANADIAN PACIFIC is because THATS A RAILROAD

@trainlover479 No kidding. I said it was ironic because *I* am Canadian.

Pay attention to the lyrics and maybe you'll see the connection between this song, its industrial roots, and Scranton.
My husband was born in Allentown but lived and died in Scranton. See three comments above.

I've lived in 5 countries and I can tell you that sometimes the best way to appreciate a place is to leave it, at least for a while. Scranton is not the worst city I've ever seen, by any stretch of the imagination. Geographically, it's in a very good location and topographically it's a beautiful sight from the air (my husband was a pilot and we had our own airplane). In the fall, Scranton looks fantastic, especially its parks.
