Several folks have a few crossed wires here. The Ventures terrific version was a huge hit but was not heard on the TV show! That version featured the greats of the L.A. studio session scene, including the late Tommy Tedesco. So, if this is the Ventures version above, Tommy Tedesco is not playing on it!

@consanna I agree totally. I've hard him when we has cut loose, and he is a monster. He also keep's a perfect beat an grooves like a motherfucker. He and Ringo share the title of underated drummer's.
