I have another great song by them that I will post soon. I agree, very romantic.

I LOVE THAT PIANO, it is so delicate and the orchestra is so sophisticated. I love the little uptempo bounce and I adore Muzzy's plaintive vocal and those ultra-romantic lyrics.:-) He sounds so vulnerable and in need of COMFORT....Thank you so much Bob for this great romantic post.

Woow what a piano! It is wonderful how plays all through the song. Love it!

One of the reasons I am so fond of this group. Glad you enjoyed it too.

I have several of his Decca's but I like this one the best - and yes, the use of the piano is very effective.

I find that Decca's usually have good sound too. Is this a location thing too?

Every early Decca that I have that is in good condition sounds great. The recording quality was usually better than the pressing quality (often bubbles) (They cost only 35 cents). In the 1980's, MCA (Decca's successor) reissued some LP's of mid '30's Decca discs and the sound is spectacular.

I noticed some of those bubbles on mine.
