The crowd at 0.41 looks like they're about to witness an execution.

Watch Get Back. It's actually John who does the solos on that track... :)

I know it trivial but its a shame you guys can't use the Fender Twin Reverb amps when doing the Abbey road / Let it Be part of the show.I also noticed there was no Vox's in the Vietnam shows?? Was it a hassel bringing them on that trip???

Playing in Vietnam is a whole different kettle of fish when it comes to gear. Air freighting Vox amps was not an option for this tour sadly (although for one show at the Rex we did actually get hold of some Fender Twins)...Glad you noticed, but for us to use multiple amps in a show is probably closer to Spinal Tap than The Beatles :) And in Vietnam, frankly we were lucky to get amps...a good thing we brought our own guitars!

i dont wanna sound like an ass...but why isnt paul playing his Hofner here?
he used it for the Let It Be album
coltonbraun 4 years ago
Well, he used the Hofner for the first half of the show (see the clip for Yesterday), but, as you might notice, we're dressed in Sgt Peppers suits, as the second half of the show featured a stack of songs from that album onwards, when Paul was mostly using the Rickenbacker bass...it's a drastic audio change in a stadium for the bass to change from a Ricky to a Hofner & back again, so our Paul just stuck with the Ricky for the later songs such as this...
