Busoni's piano transcription of Bach's choral prelude "Nun komm der Heiden Heiland" performed by Viktors Berstis in April 2008. Please use earphones for best results. The microphones are almost inside the piano on this one to get that intimate sound. Add &fmt=18 to the end of the URL to get stereo quality playback.
@stocksam perhaps horowitz takes far more liberties with tempo and dynamics... this pianist has more clarity and structure.

That's good, Vik.

Excellent tempo. I think most play this too slow. Great voicing too. Great job in all!

I am playing this piece these days.
You played well, you can complete smoothly and make some contrasts.
A tiny suggestion, we need to use one hand to play at least two different timbers for this piece especially.
That would make this piece more attractive.

It's such a pleasure to hear and watch you play! I remember you both building and playing an electronic keyboard for your 8th (9th?)-grade project in our science class. You seem to blissfully disregard the great divide between C.P. Snow's "two cultures." Bravo!
