I'm ambiguous towards pets. I don't mind them at all but I'm not one to say one animal has preference over another because it becomes too arbitrary. Besides "pets" can be treated slightly differently if they are animals that are used to the domestic environment compared to animals that happen to be a domestic breed.
In a word: naw.

@BaconGames But they're just animals, I mean people own pets because they enjoy their company. Not because their judging one animal over another. It doesn't have to be that complicated.

I put a lot of thought into things people usually don't it seems. (Like the validity of punching people in the butt as a non-sexually harassing humorous greeting more akin to a punch in the shoulder...nevermind.)
