Jeremy and I went on a Western Caribbean Cruise on the Carnival Glory in May 2010. The ship left from Miami, Florida. This cruise visited 4 different ports: Cozumel Mexico, Belize City Belize, Roatan Island Honduras, and Grand Cayman Islands. This is a montage of our photos and videos from our third stop: Roatan Island, Honduras where we did a personalized excursion with Bodden Tours. Our guide, Brett, was great in managing to fit in everything we wanted to do without making us feel rushed and gave us such good suggestions as well. They helped us make such good use of the couple of hours that we had on the island.
We visited a school where we got to hand out candy to the kids! Often lots of tourists bring school supplies, but our guide suggested something a little more fun since they get a lot of that stuff. We also went to a restaurant for lunch where we got to try the island's speciality, Iguana (not on the menu).
We visited the Iguana Farm which was fun! They munched on some leaves while we were there. My favourite stop was at Victor's Monkey Business where we got to play with monkeys!! Tip: bring a water bottle...they will be all over you lol There were also parrots there, some who like to eat hair...haha We visited the Carambola Botanical Gardens as well. It was a bit of a hike up the hill/mountain but a great view once we got there!!
I love this video. I'm sooo looking foward to my cruise in November.
