Louis Allen Rawls (December 1, 1933[1] January 6, 2006) was an American soul music, jazz, and blues singer. He was known for his smooth vocal style: Frank Sinatra once said that Rawls had "the classiest singing and silkiest chops in the singing game".Rawls released more than 70 albums, sold more than 40 million records, appeared as an actor in motion pictures and on television, and voiced-over many cartoons. He had been called "The Funkiest Man Alive".
Rawls' favorite expression was "Yeahhhh, buddy!"
"Pure Imagination" is a song from the 1971 movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. It was written by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley specifically for the movie and does not appear in the original book by Roald Dahl or the 2005 film adaptation by Tim Burton. It was sung by Gene Wilder (Willy Wonka).

I'm an 80's baby, early 90's raised so i dont particularly remember this guy. I can say that i wish we had more pure singers now a days like this guy. This mans voice is very smooth.
